TLDR Combining oral supplements, topical lotion, and mesotherapy effectively reduces hair loss and increases hair density.
The study examined the effectiveness of combined therapy for telogen effluvium (TE) in 29 female patients aged 27-50 using the oral supplement "Pantovigar," topical lotion "Microxidil," and placental mesotherapy. Patients were divided into three groups: Group 1 used "Pantovigar" and "Microxidil," Group 2 used only "Microxidil," and Group 3 used all three treatments. After 3 months, Groups 1 and 3 showed significant improvement in hair density and reduction in hair loss, with 92% and 100% of patients, respectively, reporting positive results. The study concluded that the combination of oral and topical treatments, along with mesotherapy, effectively reduced hair loss and increased hair density, with sustained results for over 3 months.

Minoxidil is discouraged due to its cost and potential for worsening hair loss, while castor oil is recommended to strengthen hair roots and reduce shedding.
