Effect of Moringa Oleifera Leaf Extract as an Active Ingredient in Hair Tonic for Hair Loss Treatment

    This study investigates the effect of moringa leaf extract as an active ingredient in hair tonic for treating hair loss. Conducted with students from the Makeup and Beauty class of 2021, the research used a quantitative, experimental approach with purposive sampling. Participants experiencing hair loss of more than 100 strands per day were observed. Data analysis using SPSS.21 revealed that the average hair loss decreased from 118.75 strands per day to 79.25 strands per day after using the moringa leaf extract tonic, indicating its potential effectiveness in reducing hair loss.
