TLDR Micropigmentation is a safe procedure that effectively improves the appearance of scars on the scalp and eyebrows, with most patients showing excellent or good results.
The study evaluated the results of micropigmentation, a procedure used to improve the appearance of scars on the scalp and eyebrows. 18 patients with scars were followed up, and 17 of them (94%) showed excellent or good results. No complications were observed, although some patients experienced pain for two days after the procedure. Histopathological analysis showed that the pigments initially reached the deep dermis but remained in the superficial dermis after three weeks. Overall, micropigmentation was found to be a safe procedure with satisfying cosmetic results.
