TLDR Magnetized water may improve agriculture and human health, but more research is needed.
This narrative review highlights the potential of magnetized water (MW) in agriculture and medicine, emphasizing its role in promoting sustainable agriculture and positive human health outcomes. MW alters water's physicochemical properties, leading to benefits such as increased antioxidant enzyme activity and reduced inflammation. Preclinical studies show MW's positive effects on diabetes, renal function, bone health, and fertility. In human applications, MW has shown efficacy in dentistry against Streptococcus mutans and in dermatology by improving skin parameters, increasing hair count, and aiding wound healing, possibly through autophagy activation. The review calls for further research to standardize MW processes and explore its therapeutic potential.
