TLDR Doxazosin and finasteride negatively affect sexual function in men with BPH.
This document contains summaries of three different studies related to erectile dysfunction (ED) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The first study compared the effectiveness of three different PDE5 inhibitors (sildenafil, tadalafil, and vardenafil) in treating ED and found that all three were highly effective, with the majority of patients preferring tadalafil. The second study examined the long-term effects of doxazosin and finasteride on sexual function in men with BPH and found that both drugs had negative effects on sexual function compared to placebo. The third study looked at the interaction between tadalafil and two different alpha-blockers (doxazosin and tamsulosin) and found that tadalafil had a significant effect on blood pressure when taken with doxazosin but not with tamsulosin.

The conversation is about the side effects of finasteride, including Post Finasteride Syndrome, with varied personal experiences and differing views on the credibility of information sources. Some participants also discuss using minoxidil as a hair loss treatment.
