TLDR Avoiding damage and using specific shampoo and supplements improved the hair condition.
Tricorrexis nodosa is a hair condition characterized by hair shaft fractures, which can be congenital or acquired. The acquired form is often due to physical, thermal, or chemical trauma, presenting as whitish nodules along the hair shafts. This article discusses a 24-year-old male patient with acquired distal tricorrexis nodosa. Effective treatment involved avoiding harmful factors and using a repairing shampoo along with biotin and zinc supplements, leading to significant improvement and reduction of affected areas.
