TLDR The new laser technique effectively reduces forehead lines with fewer side effects and faster recovery.
A study conducted on 62 patients over 18 months introduced a new technique for reducing glabellar frown lines and forehead creases using a small incision, KTP laser, and endoscope. This endolaser method allowed for precise incision or excision of facial muscles with minimal bleeding, performed through a small incision behind the hairline. The technique was as effective as the standard forehead lift in facial rejuvenation but avoided common side effects like paresthesias, scalp itch, headaches, periorbital ecchymosis, and hair loss. Additionally, it significantly reduced recovery time.
