TLDR Laser-assisted prostaglandin analogs improve hypopigmented scars safely, but more research is needed.

The systematic review on laser-assisted prostaglandin analogs for treating hypopigmented scars found that all evaluated studies showed favorable treatment outcomes without any reported adverse events. However, the review highlights the need for additional large randomized controlled trials to thoroughly evaluate the effectiveness and long-term safety of PGF2α agonists in this context.
