This study evaluated the effectiveness of using a combination of intravenous dexmedetomidine and ketamine versus dexmedetomidine alone, along with peripheral nerve blocks, for sedation in split skin grafting procedures. Involving 50 patients, the study divided them into two groups: Group DK received both ketamine and dexmedetomidine, while Group D received only dexmedetomidine. The results indicated that the combination of dexmedetomidine and ketamine provided adequate sedation and analgesia, maintaining hemodynamic stability in most patients during the minor surgical procedure.
