Advances And Challenges In Intravital Imaging Of Craniofacial And Dental Progenitor Cells

The document reviewed the advancements and challenges in intravital imaging techniques for studying craniofacial and dental progenitor cells. It highlighted the dynamic regulation of bone homeostasis by osteoblasts and osteoclasts and the technical challenges in investigating the spatial and molecular regulation of rare stem/progenitor cells in living animals. Recent advances in live animal imaging provided new real-time insights into the dynamics and function of bone stem/progenitor cells in vivo.
