The user increased their steroid dosage and noticed hair shedding, so they adjusted their regimen by reducing steroid doses and adding oral dutasteride. They are also experimenting with combining RU-58841 and KX-826/pyrilutamide in minoxidil to address hair loss.

The user is experiencing diffuse thinning and inflammation despite using 2.5mg dutasteride daily, ciclopirox, and ketoconazole shampoos. They are considering treatments like hydroxychloroquine and JAK inhibitors due to suspected scarring alopecia and have faced challenges in obtaining a scalp biopsy.

OP developed hives after using Kx 826 (Pyrilutamide) 1% twice daily for 3 weeks. The hives appeared on the arms, chest, and groin area.

Finasteride reduces DHT production, so blood tests can track hormonal changes. Pyrilutamide blocks androgen receptors without altering hormone levels, making blood tests less useful for detecting its effects.

Pyrilutamide shows minimal systemic absorption with low plasma levels and no accumulation, suggesting it's unlikely to cause systemic side effects. However, full results are not yet published in scientific journals.
