Using a qualitative approach with a sample of 6 participants, the research identifies four main themes: persistent appearance-related challenges and treatment frustration, emotional distress and self-image struggles, social influence and support challenges, and insufficient knowledge and need for clarity. The findings highlight the significant physical and emotional effects of hyperandrogenism, emphasizing the need for better understanding and support for affected individuals.
