Analysis of the Relationship Between Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus in Androgenic Alopecia at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muslim Indonesia, Ibnu Sina Hospital, and UMI Tower Makassar

    TLDR There is a significant relationship between androgenic alopecia, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus.
    This study investigated the relationship between hypertension and diabetes mellitus in patients with androgenic alopecia at Universitas Muslim Indonesia, Ibnu Sina Hospital, and Menara UMI Makassar. It involved 20 subjects and used an observational analytic cross-sectional design. The results indicated a significant correlation between androgenic alopecia and both hypertension and diabetes mellitus, with a p-value of 0.005. The study concluded that there is a significant relationship between these conditions, highlighting the need for further research with larger sample sizes.
