TLDR Andropause is strongly associated with hair loss in male civil servants.
The study, involving 40 civil servants at the Badung Regency Government Center, found a significant relationship between andropause and androgenic alopecia. Andropause, a condition marked by a decrease in testosterone levels, was found in 67.5% of the participants, while androgenic alopecia, a type of hair loss, was found in 52.5% of the participants. The odds ratio value (OR 95%CI) between andropause and androgenic alopecia was 34.3 (3.726-313.837), indicating a strong association between the two conditions.
