    TLDR Normal BMI is linked to higher rates of androgenetic alopecia.
    The study analyzed the relationship between Body Mass Index (BMI) and androgenetic alopecia among patients at the Faculty of Medicine, Ibnu Sina Hospital, and UMI Tower in Makassar. It was an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design. The results indicated a correlation between BMI and androgenetic alopecia, with the highest prevalence (34.8%) occurring in individuals with a normal BMI.
