TLDR Hollow mesoporous organosilica nanoparticles are promising for biomedical use.
The study focuses on the development of hollow mesoporous organosilica (HMO) nanoparticles, which feature a controlled core cavity and a mesoporous organosilica shell. The synthesis process of these nanoparticles is verified using IR spectroscopy. Following their synthesis, the HMO nanoparticles are evaluated for their ability to undergo endocytosis and their biocompatibility, indicating potential applications in biomedical fields.
