TLDR The herbal hair serum effectively fights microbes and promotes hair growth.
The study formulated and evaluated a herbal hair serum for its antimicrobial and hair regrowth properties. The serum contained alkaloids, carbohydrates, tannins, flavonoids, glycosides, saponins, and phytosterols, and was characterized by a dark brown color, aromatic scent, smooth texture, and a pH of 8.2. It showed significant antifungal activity against Trichophyton spp. and Candida albicans, and antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Hair regrowth studies indicated that the serum was comparably effective to standard treatments, suggesting its potential as a natural therapeutic alternative for hair growth promotion.
