The study formulated and evaluated a herbal hair serum, revealing the presence of various phytochemicals like alkaloids and flavonoids, while proteins and terpenoids were absent. The serum was dark brown, aromatic, smooth, and had a pH of 8.2, with no irritation potential. It showed significant antifungal activity against Trichophyton spp. and Candida albicans, and antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Hair regrowth studies indicated its effectiveness comparable to standard treatments, suggesting its potential as a natural therapeutic alternative for hair growth promotion.
