TLDR Most Idoma people have a curved hairline due to genetics.
The study on the Idoma people of Benue State, Nigeria, examined the distribution of hairline shapes among 401 participants. It found that 66.6% had a curved hairline (widow's peak), while 33.4% had a straight hairline. This pattern was consistent across both genders, with a 2:1 ratio of curved to straight hairlines. The study suggests that genetic factors may explain the predominance of the curved hairline shape in this population.
