TLDR Finasteride may cause breast enlargement, low testosterone a risk factor.
This document reports on three different studies in the field of urology. The first study discusses the potential side effect of gynecomastia (breast enlargement) in patients taking finasteride for BPH or prostate cancer prevention. The study found that low serum testosterone may be a risk factor for this side effect. The second study proposes a functional classification system for internal sphincter deficiency (ISD) based on urodynamic testing and clinical presentation. The third study reports on the use of ultrasound-guided percutaneous transperineal cryoablation for the treatment of prostate cancer, with some patients requiring repeated treatment or subsequent prostatectomy.
