Combination Therapy of Orally Administered Glycyrrhizin and UVB Improved Active-Stage Generalized Vitiligo

This research found that combining a 308-nm excimer laser with oral compound glycyrrhizin and topical 0.03% tacrolimus was more effective for treating pediatric facial and cervical vitiligo, resulting in faster and higher rates of repigmentation with minimal adverse effects compared to glycyrrhizin and tacrolimus alone.

This study suggests that combining baricitinib with narrowband UV-B therapy is an effective and well-tolerated approach for treating active nonsegmental vitiligo.

This study found that the combination of fluticasone propionate and UV-A was much more effective for vitiligo repigmentation than either treatment used alone, with no significant adverse effects reported.
