Follicular Unit Transplantation for Male-Pattern Hair Loss: Evaluation of 120 Patients

This study evaluated the use of follicular unit transplantation (FUT) for male-pattern hair loss in 120 patients. The study found that FUT can produce uniformly excellent results with high patient satisfaction levels. The authors emphasize the importance of good planning and creating an anterior hairline suited to the individual's forehead structure for successful results. They also suggest that hair texture is important in hair transplantation, particularly for patients with dark-colored and hard hair.
