TLDR Both FUE and DHI techniques are effective for eyebrow transplantation, with high patient satisfaction.
This cohort study conducted at the International Clinic of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery evaluated the effectiveness of two eyebrow hair transplantation techniques: Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Direct Hair Implantation (DHI). Both methods aim to provide a long-lasting and natural solution for eyebrow loss, which can result from various causes such as over-plucking, trauma, scarring, congenital conditions, or medical treatments like chemotherapy. The study focused on assessing the survival rate of transplanted hair and patient satisfaction with the results. Both techniques are minimally invasive and target achieving a natural appearance by transplanting hair from donor to recipient areas.
