The study aimed to enhance aesthetic outcomes in hair transplantation for patients with stage III-IV androgenetic alopecia by considering the direction and angle of hair growth during the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) method. It involved 52 male patients, aged 25 to 63, who underwent hair transplantation using FUE and Direct Hair Implantation (DHI) techniques. Results indicated that aligning autografts with physiological hair growth parameters improved patient satisfaction, with a 19.7% increase in the highest-scoring responses regarding the naturalness of the aesthetic outcome. The study concludes that incorporating these techniques should be standard practice to improve surgical results.
