They have been particularly effective in treating skin conditions such as psoriasis, acne, eczema, and skin cancer, offering improved outcomes with fewer side effects. This review highlights the complexity and versatility of exosomes, which help them overcome existing drawbacks, and suggests that future research will focus on addressing challenges to enable commercial use of exosome-based formulations.
