Efficiency And Safety Of Autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma

This literature review examines the efficiency and safety of autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) across various medical fields, highlighting its widespread use due to its ability to release growth factors that aid in tissue regeneration. Despite numerous studies showing positive local effects, such as improved vascularization and tissue remodeling, the clinical efficiency of PRP remains inconclusive due to heterogeneity in preparation methods and concentrations. The lack of standardized preparation protocols and criteria for PRP use complicates its clinical application. Further research is needed to establish effective preparation methods, optimal concentrations, and a deeper understanding of PRP's molecular mechanisms.
