TLDR Exosomes may be more effective than PRP for hair restoration.
This case series study compared the efficacy of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Exosomes for treating hair loss in 5 participants. Group A, with 3 male patients, received PRP treatment over multiple sessions, while Group B, with 2 female patients, received a single Exosome treatment. Both treatments showed positive outcomes, but Exosomes demonstrated significant improvement after just one session. The study concludes that Exosomes may outperform PRP in hair restoration, but further research with larger sample sizes and longer follow-up periods is needed to fully evaluate treatment efficacy.
