A Clinical Trial on Efficacy of Gagamchengyoung-Tang in Alopecia Patients with Febrile Tendency

This study investigated the efficacy of Gagamchengyoung-tang in 30 alopecia patients with a febrile tendency. The treatment, which included Gagamchengyoung-tang and acupuncture, was administered at Balmers Korean Medicine clinic over December 2012. Results showed a decrease in the scalp disorder index and an increase in hair density, suggesting that Gagamchengyoung-tang could be effective for treating scalp disorders and alopecia in patients with febrile tendencies.
