Four Cases of Androgenetic Alopecia Patients Using Korean Medicine Treatment and Western Treatment

    TLDR Combining finasteride with a Korean herbal medicine called Gagamcheongyoung-tang can improve hair loss symptoms.
    Six years ago, a case study was conducted on four patients suffering from androgenetic alopecia who were already on finasteride for over a year. The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of combining western medicine (finasteride) with a Korean herbal medicine called Gagamcheongyoung-tang. The results, evaluated through photographs, showed improvement in alopecia symptoms in all four cases. The study concluded that Gagamcheongyoung-tang could be beneficial for treating androgenetic alopecia in patients who have been taking finasteride for more than a year.
