TLDR FUE hair transplantation is safe and effective for improving hair loss in children.
A retrospective case series on the efficacy and safety of autologous follicular unit excision (FUE) in pediatric secondary cicatricial alopecia indicates that FUE hair transplantation is a safe, minimally invasive, and effective treatment for stable cicatricial alopecia in children, resulting in significant aesthetic improvements. However, further studies with larger cohorts are necessary to confirm these findings and investigate long-term outcomes.
