Assessment of the Efficacy and Safety of Indulekha Svetakutaja Hair Oil in the Management of Dandruff: A Randomized, Double-Blind, and Placebo-Controlled Study

This study evaluated the efficacy and safety of Indulekha Svetakutaja Hair Oil compared to coconut oil in managing dandruff through a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving 110 subjects with moderate dandruff. After 4 weeks of treatment, the group using Indulekha Svetakutaja Hair Oil showed a significantly greater reduction in dandruff severity (70.62 units) compared to the placebo group (48.79 units). Additionally, 98% of participants in the treatment group reported an improvement in dandruff symptoms. The study concluded that Indulekha Svetakutaja Hair Oil is a safe and effective option for controlling dandruff and improving scalp and hair health.
