The study investigated the effects of diammonium glycyrrhizinate on human hair follicles cultured in vitro, focusing on the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. It was found that a concentration of 0.01 μmol/L significantly promoted hair follicle growth compared to the control. This concentration also increased the expression of β-catenin, p-GSK3β, and Lef1 in hair matrix cells, suggesting enhanced proliferative activity and delayed transition to the catagen phase. These effects were likely linked to the activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.
