TLDR Crown-X may effectively restore hair in male pattern baldness using menstrual stem cells.
The study explores Crown-X, a new treatment for male pattern baldness using Menstrual Stem Cells (MenSCs). It shows promising results in promoting hair follicle regeneration. Molecular docking analysis revealed a stable interaction between estradiol from MenSCs and keratin, with a binding affinity of -5.5 kcal/mol. In vitro tests on human dermal papilla cells showed a significant increase in cell proliferation, with a 63% increase at a 0.1% concentration after 72 hours. These findings suggest Crown-X could be an effective, non-invasive therapy for hair restoration, though future clinical trials are needed to confirm its efficacy.
