The study analyzed COVID-19 outcomes in the New York City population and found that men had higher rates of COVID-19 positivity, hospitalization, and death compared to women, even though women were tested more frequently. This trend persisted across different age groups, indicating a significant gender disparity in COVID-19 outcomes.
