TLDR Connubial contact dermatitis is often missed, making treatment harder.
Contact dermatitis (CD) was described as a skin inflammation caused by external agents, with types including irritative, allergic, and photoreactive CD. Connubial CD, a specific form, resulted from indirect exposure through contact with a partner. Identifying and eliminating the cause was crucial for treatment, but connubial dermatitis was often unrecognized, complicating management.
