TLDR A 7-year-old girl had unusually long eyelashes with no known cause or related health issues.
A case of congenital trichomegaly of the eyelashes was reported in a 7-year-old girl, characterized by significantly elongated eyelashes measuring 10 mm at the periphery and 15 mm at the center. The condition was not associated with any familial history or other distinctive features. Despite thorough examinations, no additional abnormalities were found, and the trichomegaly was considered idiopathic. The study highlighted the importance of monitoring such cases due to the potential for various congenital or acquired conditions to manifest similarly, even though no specific cause was identified in this instance.
