TLDR A rare case of a woman having both lichen planus pigmentosus and classic lichen planopilaris at the same time.
This document reports a rare case of a postmenopausal woman who simultaneously presented with lichen planus pigmentosus (LPPigm) and classic lichen planopilaris (LPP). While the coexistence of LPPigm and frontal fibrosing alopecia is well-documented, the simultaneous occurrence of LPPigm and classic LPP is uncommon. The report includes a review of existing literature to provide context and highlight the rarity of this case.
