The nuchal area was universally affected, with extra-nuchal involvement in 57.1% of cases. Histopathological analysis showed perivascular dermatitis and folliculocentric inflammation. The study emphasizes the chronic nature of FK, with an average disease duration of 7.6 years, and underscores the need for better education and timely dermatological referral to prevent disease progression. Despite its small sample size and unvalidated questionnaires, the study suggests that early treatment could be beneficial.

      Animajax, who started off completely bald, has seen hair regrowth using finasteride 1.25mg, oral minoxidil 2.5mg, occasional topical minoxidil, dermastamping, benzoyl peroxide, and tretinoin.
