TLDR ECOHAIR® lotion is effective and safe for improving hair growth and reducing hair loss.
The document detailed a study evaluating the efficacy and safety of ECOHAIR®, a lotion with Coffea arabica and Larrea divaricata extracts, in treating noncicatricial alopecia. The open, prospective cohort study involved 52 participants (25 women and 27 men) who applied ECOHAIR® spray daily for 3 months. The study found that the lotion improved hair volume, appearance, and thickness, induced hair growth, and decreased hair loss without causing adverse reactions. Specifically, 84.6% of patients saw improved hair appearance after 90 days, with the most significant effects in women and those with androgenic alopecia subtypes 1 and 2. The treatment also reduced dandruff and was generally well-tolerated, with only minor adverse reactions at the treatment's onset. The study concluded that ECOHAIR® is an effective and safe treatment for noncicatricial alopecia, adhering to ethical standards and the Helsinki declaration.
