This study evaluated the effects of CL22209, a standardized extract of Asparagus racemosus, on 75 early perimenopausal women experiencing vasomotor symptoms and menstrual discomfort. Over 120 days, participants received either 50 mg or 100 mg of CL22209 or a placebo. Results showed significant reductions in Menopausal Rating Scale scores and Hot Flash Weekly Weighted Scores for those taking CL22209 compared to placebo, with improvements in menstrual symptoms and hormonal regulation. The extract demonstrated a dose-dependent effect on hormone levels and was well-tolerated with no serious adverse events. CL22209 is presented as a safe, natural intervention for perimenopausal symptom relief and hormonal balance.
