Formulation and Evaluation of Celery Leaf Extract (Apium Graveolens L) Shampoo for Hair Growth

    This study investigates the formulation and evaluation of celery leaf extract (Apium graveolens L) shampoo for hair growth. The experimental research tested different concentrations of celery leaf extract (0%, 2%, 3%, 4%) in shampoo formulations. Evaluations included organoleptic tests, foam height, viscosity, pH, and shampoo type. Results showed that the 2% celery leaf extract formulation (F1) performed best, closely resembling the control formulation in terms of physical and chemical properties. The study concludes that the 2% extract formulation is optimal for hair growth stimulation.
