TLDR Fluralaner effectively cures canine demodicosis in 28 days.
The study on canine demodicosis involved 10 dogs and focused on clinical signs, hematobiochemical changes, and treatment efficacy with fluralaner. Common symptoms included alopecia and skin lesions, while blood tests showed leucocytosis and hypoalbuminemia. Treatment with a single dose of fluralaner resulted in a 100% recovery rate, with negative skin scraping results by day 28 and normalization of blood parameters by days 14 and 28.
