TLDR Higher candle nut oil concentration increases droplet size and changes the hair tonic's properties and stability.
The study explored how different concentrations of candle nut oil (5%, 6%, and 7%) affected the properties and stability of a candle nut oil nanoemulsion hair tonic. It was found that the concentration of candle nut oil had a significant impact on the tonic's droplet size, polydispersity index, zeta potential, pH, and viscosity. Stability testing revealed that the tonic's stability was compromised, with notable changes in pH and viscosity after cycling tests. The research concluded that higher concentrations of candle nut oil led to increased droplet size, polydispersity index, zeta potential, pH, and viscosity in the hair tonic nanoemulsion.
