TLDR Ayurvedic treatment can help manage PCOS symptoms.
Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is a prevalent endocrine disorder in women of reproductive age, often linked to insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia, leading to issues like altered serum lipids, anovulation, abnormal uterine bleeding, and infertility. In Ayurveda, PCOS is associated with Aarthava Kshaya. A case report from Osuki Ayurveda Centre describes a 28-year-old woman with irregular menstruation, rapid weight gain, and hair loss, diagnosed with bilateral PCO pattern via ultrasound. She was treated using Ayurvedic management based on her clinical features.
