    This document titled "Assessment of hair density and caliber in white and Asian females with female pattern hair loss using folliscope" from 11 years ago compares hair density and caliber in white and Asian females with female pattern hair loss (FPHL) using the folliscope. The study found that white females had a statistically significantly higher hair density on the occipital scalp area, whereas Asian females had significantly thicker hair diameters in both frontal and occipital areas. The study included 45 female subjects (32 white; 13 Asian) with FPHL.
