TLDR The local environment significantly impacts Alopecia Areata.
The study explored the relationship between Alopecia Areata (AA), geography, and health promotion, considering AA as an autoimmune condition primarily influenced by genetics. It utilized bibliographic research and examined the disease's morbidity in relation to geographical concepts and health promotion. Key findings indicated that understanding the natural history of diseases and multiscalarity was crucial for a broader comprehension of AA. Stress was identified as a critical factor in both the onset and progression of AA. The study concluded that the local environment significantly impacted AA, but acknowledged that further research was needed to fully understand and address this condition.
