TLDR Aloe vera 10% effectively heals sheep wounds.
The study evaluated the healing effects of Aloe vera on experimentally induced wounds in sheep. Three groups were treated with different substances: a negative control with saline solution, a positive control with an allopathic ointment, and an Aloe vera group with 10% extract. Treatments were applied topically for 22 days. Macroscopic evaluations showed that Aloe vera was effective in wound healing, suggesting its potential as a treatment. Microscopic evaluations showed similar results across all groups until the 22nd day, where differences emerged. Overall, Aloe vera 10% demonstrated satisfactory healing effects, making it a viable alternative for treating sheep wounds.
