TLDR Emerging injectable treatments like PRP, stem cells, and exosomes show promise for safer, more effective hair growth.
This review discusses the limitations of conventional hair loss treatments and highlights the potential of emerging localized injectable therapies, such as PRP, stem cells, and exosomes, for hair regrowth. These treatments offer promising alternatives by minimizing systemic side effects and localized adverse events associated with traditional oral and topical medications. The review evaluates clinical studies on the efficacy and safety of these injectable therapies, emphasizing the importance of injection techniques and administration protocols. These therapies represent a significant advancement in scalp regenerative medicine, aiming to stimulate hair follicle reactivation and promote sustained, natural hair growth, thus improving patient care and addressing a widespread clinical need.
