The study utilized the DataDerm registry to analyze keratinocyte carcinoma (KC) cases in the U.S. from 2016 to 2022, identifying 470,190 basal cell carcinoma (BCC), 226,818 squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and 63,671 SCC in-situ cases. The majority of patients were white, aged 56-75, and had a history of non-melanoma skin cancer. Most patients were male (BCC: 55.4%, SCC: 56.8%, SCCis: 50.8%) and lived in urban areas, traveling less than 25 miles for treatment. DataDerm's extensive database offers significant insights into the demographics and characteristics of KC patients, reflecting the patient population seen by private practice dermatologists.
