NFATc2, also known as Nuclear Factor of Activated T-Cells, Cytoplasmic 2, is a protein that plays a crucial role in the immune system by regulating the expression of genes involved in immune responses. It is activated in T-cells and other immune cells, where it helps control the production of cytokines, which are signaling molecules that mediate and regulate immunity, inflammation, and hematopoiesis.
